It is monitored by 150 cameras for safety.

 

Problems with the Clem7

People don't like having to pay a toll to use the Clem7.

The owners of the Clem7 lost a lot of money as it cost so much to build and not many people use the tunnel because of the toll.

People complained about the noise made when it was being built.

Privately owned land had to be reclaimed by the builders so they would have room for the roads. This made people upset.

Some houses were damaged because of the earth moving during construction.
